Satellite Symposium

The purpose of this symposium is to facilitate translational research lines connected to the Pursuit of Happiness in biomolecular/biomedical sciences and in biophysics. Therefore, the aim is to understand the relationship of a state and trait of consciousness associated with subjective states of happiness, and measuring the physiological response: brain (electroencephalography) and non-brain (electrocardiogram, electromyogram and galvanic skin response) and saliva molecular biomarker analysis (proteomic, genomics and metabolomics) and tentatively transfer the subjective state of happiness to other subject via brain-computer-Interaction (BCI). For the mentioned purposes the speakers shall address the topics:

  1. Using Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis;
  2. Using BCI and the immersion in multimodal neurofeedback environment;
  3. Search for the “molecule” of Happiness;
  4. Brain’s Subjective State of Happiness transfer to another Brain.
